My Background

I grew up in Sarasota, Florida, which is an artistic, beach community on the west coast
of Florida. I was always a beach loving, outdoors type of youngster, and I started drawing
and painting at around age 6 or so. My first major inspiration came when we visited
Walt Disney World for the first time, the animatronic characters became a fascination of mine,
and I was leaning toward the Imagineering side of Disney (which I still love to see).
I was an Illustration Major at Ringling School of Art and Design, after graduating
Ringling I went into the internship program at Walt Disney Feature Animation Florida. When I
completed my internship in Florida I went to Disney in Los Angeles to begin a training
program out there. Finally, after all of this preparation I moved back to Orlando
and began my animation career.
I worked at the Florida studio until the beginning of “Mulan”, and then I moved back to
the Los Angeles studio to work on “Hercules”, after that movie wrapped I started
working at Dreamworks Animation on “The Prince of Egypt”. I stayed at Dreamworks
for "The Road to El Dorado" and “Spirit : Stallion of the Cimarron”, I took a little break after
“Spirit” and worked some freelance jobs for a little while.
After my little rest period I went to Sony Pictures ImageWorks and worked on several
movies over there.
Below is a list of credits and stuff I worked on during those years.
Some other things I enjoy doing are camping, surfing, and tennis.
The picture's above were taken at Sequoia National Park, a great place to camp.
